Four people were taken to hospital after a car went into a ditch on Highway 401 in Milton early Thursday, prompting the closure of westbound lanes near Martin Street.
Ontario Provincial Police charged a person with dangerous driving causing bodily harm in connection with the single-vehicle collision, CHCH reported.
The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. near Martin Street. According to OPP, two passengers suffered serious injuries, while the driver and front-seat passenger had minor injuries.
All four occupants were taken to hospital following the collision.
Westbound lanes of Highway 401 were closed at Martin Street while police investigated and crews cleaned up the crash site.
