Toronto transit riders who use Line 5 Eglinton or Line 6 Finch West can now provide feedback on the new lines through an online survey covering service satisfaction, ease of use and travel habits.

In an Oct. 5 announcement, the TTC said the survey will help it understand what customers need and identify ways to improve their experience. The questionnaire became available that day.

An independent third-party research firm is administering the survey. According to the TTC, all responses will remain confidential.

Customers can find more information and complete the questionnaire at ttc.ca/LRTsurveys. The invitation is directed at people who use either of the two lines.

Two new lines, separate operating and maintenance roles

The feedback request follows the opening of both lines within the past year. Line 6 Finch West began service in December 2025, while Line 5 Eglinton opened in February 2026.

The TTC operates both lines, but Metrolinx owns them. Maintenance is handled by separate companies working under contract to Metrolinx.

Mosaic Transit Partners maintains Line 6 Finch West. Crosslinx Transit Solutions is responsible for maintenance on Line 5 Eglinton.

Under agreements with Metrolinx and the City of Toronto, the TTC's responsibilities include running trains and staffing stations. The transit agency also handles customer service, fare revenue collection and security functions.

The survey focuses on riders' overall experience with the lines, including how easy they are to use and whether customers are satisfied with service. The TTC says that feedback will inform its efforts to improve the customer experience.
