The TTC Board will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, July 22, at Toronto City Hall — the last regular public meeting of the current board's term before a new board is seated in December.

The meeting will run in a hybrid format, giving commissioners the choice to attend in person or join remotely, the TTC said in a news release. The session begins at 9 a.m. online and will also be open to the public, who can sit in at Committee Room 2 at City Hall or watch the proceedings live on the TTC's official YouTube channel.

Members of the public who want to address the board can make a deputation in person, virtually, by video, by telephone or in writing. Requests must be submitted by email to commission services, and the deadline to register is Tuesday, July 21, at noon, according to the TTC said in a news release. Additional details will be provided to registrants after they sign up.

The meeting itself will be conducted through an online video conferencing platform, the release said.

For GTA riders and residents, the July 22 session marks the end of the current board's schedule. The first meeting of the newly constituted TTC Board is set for Tuesday, December 15.

The TTC has also changed where the public can find board documents. Meeting materials for the board and its committees are now housed on the City of Toronto's Meeting Management Information System, known as TMMIS, a move the agency said is meant to improve and streamline access to documents and decisions. Materials from 2024 and earlier will remain available on ttc.ca for the time being.

Residents who want to follow the board's work can subscribe to the TTC's e-updates to receive alerts when agendas are posted and when decisions are held or approved. The agenda for the July 22 meeting can be viewed through the City of Toronto's online council and committee portal.

How to take part

The meeting takes place at Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W., in Committee Room 2, beginning at 9 a.m. The same proceedings will be streamed live on the Official TTC YouTube Channel.

Anyone wishing to speak to the board must email their request to register by Tuesday, July 21, at 12 noon, the TTC said in a news release.
